My major is the industrial design. You always use them that are products that designed by industrial designer. For example, cell phones, cameras, sunglasses, cars, shoes, mp3 player, bags… it’s better to find no products. There are so many products in our life.
People who study industrial design usually design products, but I’m always into a car design. When I entered my university, I was disappointed because there wasn’t a curriculum of car design in my university. I considered it whether I had to restart an admission examination of university or not. At that time, I knew one group that is the Clotho that study car design in my major. I was glad to find them, so I entered the Clotho, and I have started to study car design. I have never repented to study car design with my group.

I’m always proud of my group.

"Meaning of Clotho"

The Clotho is name of the youngest goddess who spins yarn of destiny among one of the goddess of destiny in Greek myth. She spins yarn by machine of making yarn, and it weaves the cloth of life with a piece of yarn and a single-ply thread.
It means if a piece of yarn is the youth, and a single-ply thread is passion. It’s very important time which single-ply thread weaves with another a single yarn that the youth. Finally, it means that my group is passion.

It’s my special hobby that is strange. I just wondered what principles of products are, how composition is the products, how do products work, and each part how does it work because of my major. When I design some products, I have to know about that product even composition, so I have started to disassemble products. For example, cellophanes, printers, computers, televisions, cameras, walkmans, laptop and etc…there were many kinds of products. I can’t remember all things. I collected a part of products, especially small metallic parts. One day, I thought it why don’t I make something by metallic parts. After then I considered how I can make something by metallic parts. Finally I decided to make a model motorbike by my materials. I made it for 15hours. After that work, I made a model robot for three weeks. To think it how to make was more difficult to make a model. I had to spend times about thinking how to make it. Sometime it was too hard for me, but I finished to make it I was satisfied.
I go back to Korea. I’m not sure whether I do it again or not because if I do it, I have to spend a time too much, but I hope if I can, I want to continue doing it.

I'm not sure about me. It depends on the situation. When I am with my intimate friends, I am usually sociable, talkative and lead in the conversations. But when I meet strangers, I am unsocialbe. I don't like being unsocialbe. It's difficult to change my personality, but I try to change from negative characteristics to positive characteristics.

When I play sports, my character changes from an unsocialbe person to sociable preson. I love team sports, for example, soccer, hockey and basketball. The most rewarding thing about playing sports with people is making friends easily and meeting people naturally. It's good for people who don't make friends easily like me.

Sometimes I'm very adventurous. I've been bungee-jumping and sky-diving. And last summer, I went traveling alone by bicycle in Korea for 14days. I hope I'll have done all kinds of adventures by the time I'm young If I can.

Most of the time, I'm a good person. I generally have a neutral character.

The ninth of October is "Hangeul" Proclamation Day in korea.

Hangeul Proclamation Day

Before *Hangeul was invented, our nation used our own language and borrowed Chinese letters to write. But, chinese characters were difficult to use and could not express all of our words. So, *King Sejong was made Hangeul.
The accurate record does not exist because since King Sejong performed the project of inventing Hangeul secretly, there is no evident record related to the invention of Han-geul even in the authentic history. Unmon 28 letters(recent 24 letters) were invented in December of 1443(Sejong 25th year) and *Hunminjeongeum was completed in September of 1446(Sejong 28th).

The greatest invention of the world because Hangeul is a very scientific letters as a phonemic letters, the most advanced writing system. And, King Sejong invented Hangeul to contribute to a better life for the sake of ordinary peolpe. It was the background of Hangeul invention. Any language didn't have intention of creating.

I am always proud of my language.

I often draw a picture of my friend.

Process :

First, I choose a photo of my friend.

Then, I sketch by pencil on drawing paper simply.

Next, I draw by pen again.

After that, I wipe out the pencil drawing on drawing paper.

Finally, I take a picture of my drawing and I edit it by computer program.
